Trip - Charter Fishing Islamorada Florida | 6 Guests 8 Hour Charter Trip on June 18, 2026

Very enjoyable full day trip with Captain Troy & First Mate George. Stopped at the teef on the way out and caught our limit of yellowtail snapper & bait before heading out for a full day of trolling for pelagics. Caught our limit of Mahi Mahi and a couple black fin tuna before continuing out to 25 miles and dropping a squid to ~1500 fy to try for a swordfish. After about an hour of swordfishing and watching the big ships (no luck), headed back and hit a few more piles of mahi. As a single fisherman, the crew worked their butts off for me to put me on the fish and make it a productive and enjoyable day. Had a blast and learned some new techniques that I will be better at next time. Captain cut up my fish quickly and I had enough hook and cook for the rest of the trip. All-in-all a great day of fishing and enjoying the ocean.

Great full day trip with Capt Troy & First Mate George. Stopped at the reef on the way out and caught our limit of yellowtail snapper and a bunch of bait before heading out for a day of trolling. Mahi & blackfin were the bite of the day. Caught a few blackfin & our limit on Mahi and head out to 25 miles to try a drop for swordfish. No luck there, but hit several mahi piles on the way back. Crew was friendly and extremely helpful for me as a single fisherman. Had a blast. Highly recommended.

Captain Troy and George were amazing !! It was our first time deep sea fishing and they explained everything we needed to know and were amazing ! My 16 year old felt like he was on top of the world with their guidance and tips and we caught so many fish !!! It was so much more than we could have imagined. Next time we come there is no other boat we would even consider !!!!

We had an awesome time! On the fish pretty quickly. Caught lots of yellowtail snapper then tried for tuna. Caught 2 big tuna! Bonus of a king mackerel. Boat was great, Captain Troy and mate were awesome! Made sure the kids had fun (ages 14 and 16). Would definitely go again and highly recommend!

Had an awesome time with Captain Troy and Steven! We did the afternoon 4hr trip. Boat is very nice! Lots of room for 6 of us. We were on yellowtail snapper right away and all of us caught a bunch of them. Switched over for the bigger fish and caught 2 nice sized tuna and a king mackerel! Look up Miller Time Sportfishing on Facebook for pictures from the trip. Both Troy and Steven were great coaching the kids with the tuna and techniques during the trip. They made sure we were all involved which we appreciated since there was 6 of us. Highly recommend Miller Time Sportfishing!!

Great guide, put us on fish within 30 minutes. We limited out in tuna within an hour and a half. We were never able to open a beer because he put us on so many fish. Incredibly nice and Jess the deckhand was fantastic.

My wife and I had the pleasure of fishing aboard Miller Time with Captain Troy on March 17th, and the experience exceeded our expectations. We departed at dawn. Captain Troy provided thorough safety instructions and outlined our itinerary for the day. Although live bait acquisition was slow, he graciously extended our trip without us needing to request it. We enjoyed a fantastic day of fishing, landing several diverse species. At the Islamorada hump, we had successful catches of Mahi mahi, and we also reached our limit on yellowtail snapper. First mate James demonstrated impressive knowledge and offered valuable tips on catching various species. He was an exceptional instructor, empowering us to fish while offering support whenever needed. Overall, it was an outstanding fishing excursion, and we eagerly anticipate our next trip aboard Miller Time with Captain Troy!

I've chartered a few times before, and Captain Troy and First Mate James were exceptional. This trip was special as it was my wife and 9-year-old son's first experience, and I wanted it to be perfect. The facilities aboard the Miller Time were well-maintained (which isn't always the case), and Captain Troy and First Mate James were incredibly supportive of my son. We started with a nearly 7 lb mangrove snapper, which we later enjoyed grilled for dinner. Moving to shallower waters, my son caught numerous yellowtail snappers (released) and encountered two nurse sharks, one of which was about 200 lbs. Assisting with the latter was quite challenging! I highly recommend Miller Time, Captain Troy, and First Mate James for an unforgettable fishing trip.
